New Words.... We Think!

We think baby S is trying to say her first words! She started trying to say cat (well, she says tat) when she sees our cat. Then she was reading an animal book and said duck (uck). We're only half sure she was trying to say duck and not another four letter word that ends in -uck :-)! Yesterday, when she was eating in her highchair, I signed "all done" and said it at the same time. I think she tried to say it! I can't believe she's actually saying words! Where did the time go?

In other news, we almost have a walker! She is working on her balance, but is too afriad to take a step on her own. Soon, I know!

By the way, I'm trying to be a better photographer- I have a dSLR- anyone have any tips/websites/books that would be good for a beginner?

New Pictures!

A lot has happened since I last posted! I went to Charleston to see my dad and grandpa!

We had our Christmas party and celebrated my birthday! We found out some good friends are expecting (congrats!) and we are getting ready for Christmas! Yay!

As a birthday/early Christmas present, we got a new camera - a Nikon D40! I LOVE it! Here are a few from today (understand that the camera was delivered at noon!!)

An update!

Lots of things are happening at the Trott house. Savannah now has TWO teeth! Yay! She can scoot really well and likes to try to pull up on things. I think we're going to have a full-blown crawler soon! Oh yeah- we got a new car! No more mustang....booo :-( Now we are REALLY grown up! Thanksgiving was good, now we are gearing up for our holiday party! (and my birthday!)
Saturday Savannah will be taking her first plane trip to see Papa Jon and Great-Grandpa! Chris isn't coming with us, so hopefully Savannah behaves!! I'll let you know if I survive. I don't have any current pictures right now, I'm working on our Christmas ones right now!
